Overview
A leech is a token that lives on another token, its host. Leeches trade on a bonding curve priced in the host. Every trade takes a 1% fee in host tokens, and draining that fee burns host supply. The more a leech trades, the more of its host disappears.
Routes
Every leech is priced in its host, not ETH. Don't hold the host? The router converts your ETH in the same transaction.
Buy: ETH → host (Uniswap) → leech (curve) Sell: leech (curve) → host → ETH (optional) Deep: ETH → $RFROG → $EMBR → $TIGR
Deeper leeches route through each host in turn, so a buy at depth 2 pressures two hosts at once.
Latch On, step by step
- Upload a sprite. It is resized to 256px and kept pixelated.
- Name the leech. The ticker is filled from the name and can be edited.
- Pick an open host. Hosts still warming their TWAP, or at max depth, can't be picked.
- Choose an optional first buy. The 2.5% launch fee applies only to that buy.
- Approve the host token (or send ETH), then confirm the launch transaction.
Fees & Burn
Every trade takes 1% of the host side. The fee accrues on the leech until someone calls drain.
| Line | Daytime | Blood Moon |
|---|---|---|
| Trade size | 1,000,000 $HOST | 1,000,000 $HOST |
| Fee (1%) | 10,000 $HOST | 10,000 $HOST |
| Burned | 5,000 $HOST | 7,000 $HOST |
| To dev | 3,000 $HOST | 3,000 $HOST |
| To treasury | 2,000 $HOST | 0 $HOST |
Blood Moon
From 20:00 to 05:00 UTC the treasury share goes to the burn: 70% burned, 30% to the dev, nothing to treasury. The contract checks block.timestamp % 86400, so the split depends on when drain is called, not when the trade happened.
Graduation
When a curve raises its host target, the leech graduates. Its remaining reserves seed a Uniswap pool, and the LP tokens are locked forever. Trading fees keep draining the host after graduation, and a graduated leech can become a host itself.

What admin can and cannot do
Can
- Add or pause hosts in the registry
- Change the treasury address
- Pause new launches in an emergency
Cannot
- Mint leech tokens or change supply
- Change fees or splits
- Touch curve reserves or locked LP
- Stop trading, selling, or drain
Verify on chain
- Open a leech contract on the explorer and read its host and reserves.
- Call pendingFees(), then drain(). Check the Transfer to the dead address.
- Confirm the split against the current UTC hour.
- For graduated leeches, check the LP lock holds the pool tokens.
Risks
- Contracts are unaudited.
- Leech prices follow their host; if the host falls, so does the leech.
- Deep leeches compound host risk across every level.
- Curves are thin early. Large trades move price sharply.
- Nothing here is financial advice. Only feed what you can lose.
FAQ
- Can I buy a leech with ETH?
- Yes. Leeches are priced in their host, but the router swaps your ETH into the host in the same transaction.
- Who can call drain?
- Anyone. Drain is permissionless; pending fees are split and burned on the spot.
- Where does the burned host go?
- To the dead address. It leaves circulating supply permanently.
- Can a leech be a host?
- Yes, once it graduates. A leech of a leech is depth 2, and the chain stops at depth 3.
- Can the dev rug the curve?
- No. Devs never hold curve reserves; they only receive their 30% fee share.
